Clean Ocean Action
Clean Ocean Action (COA) is a broad-based coalition of 125 active boating, business, community, conservation, diving, environmental, fishing, religious, service, student, surfing, and women's groups. These "Ocean Wavemakers" work to clean up and protect the waters of the New York Bight. The groups came together in 1984 to investigate sources, effects, and solutions of ocean pollution. Coastal Marine Resource Center
A non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of New York/New Jersey Harbor Estuary and Bight.


Delaware Riverkeeper Network
Grounded in the power of the River and the community, the Delaware Riverkeeper, backed by the Delaware Riverkeeper Network, staunchly champions the needs of the Delaware river and in so doing ensures its unfettered ability to protect and provide for all the human and nonhuman communities that love, appreciate and depend upon it.

Google Earth lets you fly anywhere on Earth to view satellite imagery, maps, terrain, 3D buildings, from galaxies in outer space to the canyons of the ocean. You can explore rich geographical content, save your toured places, and share with others.


The New Jersey Academy for Aquatic Sciences at Adventure Aquarium
Volunteer opportunity: Specific training is provided, but a love of animals, people, and aquatic environments is a must. Guest Experience Volunteers (16+) work directly with visitors to provide educational support. A full day commitment every two weeks is expected, with the possibility of extra hours during school vacations. New Jersey Division of Water Supply
The Division of Water Supply is responsible for managing New Jersey's water supply, to ensure adequate, reliable, and safe water is available.

Rutgers Water Resources Program
Rutgers Cooperative Extension (RCE) helps the diverse population of New Jersey adapt to a rapidly changing society and improve their lives through an educational process that uses science-based knowledge. The goal of the Water Resources Program is to provide solutions for many of the water quality and quantity issues facing New Jersey.


The Watershed Institute
The Institute provides tailored advice, administers a grant program, hosts educational forums for organizations, and acts as a clearinghouse of information for New Jersey watershed groups.
