A wonderful site for kids 6 and up, with animation and sound enhancing the online weather activities it offers! You can learn how to predict the weather, use a weather glossary, and more!


Marine Bio
A site for older kids, with an emphasis on conservation and environmental protection as well as education about sea life. Remarkably extensive in the information it covers! Ages 9 and up.


National Geographic Kids-Pirates!
Lots of info on pirates, their trade, and the times they flourished in! You can take an interactive pirate challenge-will you beat the challenge, or will you have to walk the plank? There's also a section devoted to Edward Teach, aka "Blackbeard", one of the most infamous buccaneers to sail the seven seas! Ages 9 and up.


OceanLife For Kids
A simple, PowerPoint-like site detailing ocean life. There's an online template for designing your own fish! Ages 5 and up.
